Tender description

The tender is also available for Higher Education institutions via our colleagues in other Consortia. As per our joint contracting programme other bodies that could potentially be interested in accessing the agreement include NWUPC (North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium), NEUPC (North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium), LUPC (London Universities Purchasing Consortium), SUPC (Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium), TPL (TUCO Purchasing Ltd.), APUC (Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges) and HEPCW (Higher Education Purchasing Consortium, Wales). CPC reserves the right during the period of this agreement to make additions to or subtractions from the list of participating Institutions and Consortia. The right is also reserved to negotiate the inclusion of other users who are outside the main scope of this Framework Agreement. Current member details are available per region from the following link: http://www.thecpc.ac.uk/members/regions.php Future members of the CPC will be from the education sector, the majority of whom will be on the open access EduBase public portal: - http://www.education.gov.uk/edubase/home.xhtml Membership of CPC is free for Institutions, and there is no mandate upon members to use the frameworks. The estimated framework value is about 11 000 000 GBP over a four year period and is split into the following 10 Lots: Lot 1 — PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). This lot is for the supply of safety footwear, hazard protection clothing, safety gloves, personal protection equipment, any associated products and services including but not limited to shoe fitting service, face fit testing service, face fit training service, prescription safety glasses/eye wear service and personalisation services. Lot 2 — First Aid Kits, Equipment and Accessories. This lot is for the supply of first aid kits, equipment and accessories including first aid kits, equipment and supplies, health and safety gloves, dressings and wound care, bio hazard and hygiene including but not limited to supply and installation, trainings and preventative maintenance of training equipment such as manikins, simulators and defibrillators. Lot 3 — Corporate Wear and Uniforms. This lot is for the supply and personalisation of corporate wear, work wear and uniforms. Lot 4 — School Uniforms and PE Kit. This lot is for the supply and personalisation of school uniforms. Lot 5 — Security Uniforms. This lot is for the supply and personalisation of security uniforms. Lot 6 — Hair and Beauty Uniforms. This lot is for the supply and personalisation of hair and beauty uniforms. Lot 7 — Sports Clothing. This lot is for the supply and personalisation of sports clothing. Lot 8 — Food Industry Clothing. This lot is for supply and personalisation of food industry clothing. Lot 9 — Medical and Laboratory Clothing. This lot is for the supply and personalisation of medical and laboratory clothing. Lot 10 — One Stop Shop. Suppliers that have bid for and are successful in Lots 1 — 9 inclusive at the award stage will be awarded a place on Lot 10. There is no tender documentation for Lot 10 and to be awarded to this Lot a potential supplier must be successful in all Lots 1 to 9. Members have the right to utilise the e-auctions during the further competition/ call-off stage of the supplier selection.
