Tender description

The purpose of this notice is to inform the market of individual supplier meetings which the Cabinet Office will be hosting. The 1-2-1 meetings are part of the Cabinet Office's market consultation phase with the purpose being to gain an understanding of the market interest and range of services available to support and shape the future delivery of the pension administration services for the Royal Mail Statutory Pension Scheme (‘RMSPS’) which is due to be procured. The RMSPS transferred to the public sector in April 2012 and the current contract expires in March 2017. This procurement will be solely for pension administration services to the RMSPS. The successful pension administrator will be expected to work in a collaborative manner with the Royal Mail Pension Plan (RMPP) which is administered by the Royal Mail's Pension Services Centre as both schemes have committed to deliver a seamless service to members who may be beneficiaries of both RMSPS and RMPP. The RMSPS is a closed scheme, the services it requires are for its deferred members and pensioners.
