Powys County Council (‘The Council’) on behalf of Powys Health and Adult Social Care are seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the provision of a care and support service at Llys Glan yr Afon Extra Care Housing scheme in Newtown, Powys. In entering into a contract with the Council to provide care and support services for people living in the extra care housing scheme, the Service Provider will undertake to comply with the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW) National Minimum Standards (NMS) for Domiciliary Care Agencies (Wales) Regulations 2004 (and any subsequent amendments). The extra care scheme will aim to provide the additional support which will enable individuals to remain within their own home for longer (with the level of support they need to meet their care and support needs).
