Tender description
The department requires 2 Ultrafast Amplified Laser Systems more fully described in both Section 3s of this tender. The systems will be used as a basis for an ultrafast time-resolved optical spectroscopy experiments. Round the clock usage of both systems is anticipated and a rugged, hands-free system is sought. This tender has been split into 2 Lots. Tenderers may bid for 1, or both Lots. Tenderers must not make the pricing of their response to 1 Lot conditional upon acceptance of their pricing on the other Lot, however, where a bidder offers a multi-Lot discount (which must apply to both Lots) and wins either Lot 1 or Lot 2, the evaluation and award process on both Lots will be re-run after applying the discount to the price element.
