Tender description

The Spinal Injury Physiotherapy Team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust requires a FES machine. This will be used for undertaking lower limb FES with spinal injury patients. The FES Cycle needs to have an adjustable calf support with length adjustment. Adjustable radius and tip up protection clamps. Other must have features are listed below: Must have features: •Be able to automatically record the following data: distance travelled; energy expended; average asymmetry and session duration. •6 built in channels of stimulation. •A control unit that operates features of adaptive resistance; automatic stimulation adjustment, automatic progressions and spasm detection •A system that co-ordinates with encrypted on line database for Therapy download, session upload , analysis and audit. •Automatic software updates.
