Establishment of a Single Party Framework for the supply of Post Primary General Classroom Furniture

Tender description

At this time Cork ETB is inviting tenders for the establishment of a Single Party Framework Agreement for the supply of Post Primary General Classroom Furniture at various locations throughout Cork City and County. This framework will commence from April 2015 and will cease on 31st December 2016, subject to satisfactory assessment at annual review, ongoing need and budget availability. The successful tender must have a current Tax Clearance Certificate, a copy of which must be provided to Cork ETB prior to the commencement of the contract. All furniture must comply with Irish and European standards (IS EN 1729) or equivalent. There are initial requirements for 2015 as follows: Schull Community College, Colla Road, Schull, Co. Cork - 2 Classrooms St. Colman’s College, Youghal Road, Midleton, Co. Cork - 4 Classrooms Davis College, Summerhill, Mallow, Co. Cork - 4 Classrooms Delivery of the furniture will be required at various stages between April and December 2015. We will endeavour to give four weeks advance notice for the delivery to each school. As this is a framework agreement, we may require additional General Classroom Furniture for other schools in our scheme and tenderers should bear in mind the geographical size of County Cork when determining the unit price which must include all discounts and delivery charges. The expected quantities for 2016 cannot be determined at this stage. In some instances, we may not require complete classroom fit outs and may only require quantities of one or several items. Please complete all relevant sections of Appendix 1, parts (a), (b), (c) and (d).
