Devon Safeguarding Adult Board and Devon Procurement Service are working together to put a framework in place for training requirements in relation to adult safeguarding. The framework will consist of specific areas of training so a number of suppliers may be required to become ‘approved suppliers’ to cover these areas. The areas of training required have not been finalised although it is envisaged that they will cover such areas as — Mental Capacity Act. — Best Interest Assessor. — Deprivation of Liberty. — Domestic Abuse. — Sexual Violence. Work on the framework is ongoing so no procurement timetable is currently available although it is the plan to publish the framework information and documents by the end of August 2016. Please be aware that this is subject to change without notice. The opportunity to join onto this framework will be published on the Supplying the South West tendering portal (www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk).
