Summary of the work Digital Programme to deploy new network and SaaS collaboration platform to NHSPS inline with their published business priorities to "Putting a new data and systems architecture in place" from the 2014/15 Stewardship Report Specialist role Technical Architect Expected Contract Length 3 months Latest start date 1st June 2016 Maximum Day Rate £1,750 Who Speclialist Work With Technical Programme Manager Other Project Members as required C-level Customer Team Business Stakeholders Head of IT InfoSec Internal IT Team External Suppliers What Specialists Work On The Identity Architect’s role is to strategically design and implement in-house & SaaS Security Solutions and architectures that support core organizational authentication functions, and assure their high availability. This individual will gain organisational commitment for all solutions & plans, as well as evaluate and select all technologies required to complete those plans. In addition, the Identity Architect provides technical leadership across the organisation, from strategic decision making down to the project planning level. Skills & Experience • 15 years work experience delivering transformation infrastructure Projects Experience defining, implementing and integrating security controls in Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments. • Background in securing services and/or architecting separation controls in Cloud systems. • In depth expertise with integration on premise AD with Windows Azure Active Directory • Knowledge and Understanding of information security frameworks practices, standards, and guidelines relating to personal customer data. Extensive experience in developing strategic Solutions architecture plans. Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis. • Proven experience in Solutions and network design and development. Strong understanding of information processing principles and practices. Proven project planning and management experience. • Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. Nice to Haves • min 5 years experience of delivery Projects with Public Sector. Hands on configuration of Azure and O365 tenants and components therein. • Experience of multiple IDAM solutions, including SaaS & IDaaS. Hands-on experience of Windows Azure Active Directory (WAAD) and ecosystems tooling. Work Location Swindon, York, Bristol, Tonbridge, Lincoln, Stockport, London, Portsmouth, Bradford, Taunton, Newcastle, Preston, Birmingham, Cambridge Working Arrangments Swindon base, expectation 2-days a week with facilities to accommodate NHSPS staff and / or its suppliers as required. 3-days a week at any of the above locations and / or supplier sites at the customers discretion based on the needs of the Programme, predominantly London or Taunton. No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria • Able to work on their own and under as required. Able to direct & lead a Team of technical specialists. • Able to effectively communicate with C-Level customers through to workers with low levels of digital technology literacy. • Works in a collaborative & open manner to develop the organisations IT Team. Can you please clarify - How often the consultant will need to travel to other sites. is this negotiable? - Would travel be expensed? Travel and expensesis not paid separately and should be considered to be part of the day rate quoted. Travel to other sites would need to be on an as and when basis and is not quantifiable at this stage, hence the need for flexibility from the supplier. 3. Hello I would like some clarification around the points below · Is the Collaboration & Networks Programme – Identity Lead Architect a security focused role? Are you looking for a Cloud Security Architect, with a technical security background or a Technical Infrastructure Architect with an exposure to Cloud & Security? · Is there any working from home option? The requirement is for a Microsoft Technical Infrastrucutre Architect with experience of designing. implementing and integrating on premise and Cloud security controls for IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments.Very limited ability to work from home as the successful candidate needs to work with the other Programme team members.
