Tender description

This is a notice for social and specific services in accordance with Directive 2014/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council Article 74 Health and Social services. The School Nursing Service will promote and protect the health and well being of school age children and young people who attend mainstream schools in Haringey and school age children not in school. The aims of the school nursing service are to: — Tackle inequalities through a child centred public health approach; — Deliver the Healthy Child Programme (5 — 19 years) which includes the National Child Measurement Programme; — Ensure delivery of the school health immunisation programme; — Work in partnership with public health and school staff to develop a school health programme based on the school health profile and local public health priorities; — Contribute to the safeguarding of school aged children; — Provide a service which is responsive to the individual needs of children and the school population.
