Tender description

The objective for An Garda Síochána in undertaking this procurement process is to ensure the most economical quality supply, delivery of identity cards for An Garda Síochána. An Garda Síochána will not be bound to purchase any products under the arrangement. There is an initial requirement for15, 000 cards, further quantities may be purchased. Orders may be placed in varying quantities following the initial requirement. It should be borne in mind that there is no contractual commitment on An Garda Síochána to purchase any units beyond the minimum requirement. The following is the specification for the identity card  Standard size PVC ID cards  Multi coloured printing on both sides  OVI (Optical Variable Ink) logo/security feature  UV Security Feature  Sequential Number on rear  Microtext  Access control capacity/proximity card Approximately 15,000 ID Cards will be required
