Tender description

This tendering opportunity relates to the composting of approximately 42 000 tonnes per annum of household garden waste to PAS 100 standards or equivalent, from 1.4.2017. Of the above estimated quantity, 28 000 tonnes per annum is expected to be deposited at the Authority's network of 19 household waste recycling centres by the members of the public, while the remaining tonnage is the waste that Exeter City Council, West Devon Borough Council, and the District Councils of Mid Devon and Teignbridge collect as part of their kerbside collection schemes. This procurement exercise will follow the Public Contracts Regulations 2015's Competitive Procedure with Negotiation. The Authority reserves the right to award the Contract on the basis of the initial tenders without conducting negotiation.
