This call for expressions of interest is to ascertain the marketplace for the design, fabrication and testing of a unique prototype medical device medical device. It requires highly specialised expertise in the field of expandable, large diameter access sheath technology for the delivery of large therapeutic devices through the femoral artery. A supplier is required that specialises in the development of thin-walled expandable access sheaths. The supplier shall have specific expertise, know-how and technology to develop expandable access sheaths and haemostatis valves. It shall have the necessary facilities and equipment to build prototype devices as well as the appropriate testing capabilities. Particular expertise is required in the area of access sheath and haemostatis valve design and materials. This call for expressions of interest is to ascertain the marketplace on the existence of suppliers that have these specific expertise.
