Who Speclialist Work With HQ SG Programme Manager Responsible for delivery of the CORTISONE Capability for the Defence Medical Services across all Defence Lines of Development. ISS Programme CORTISONE Lead Architect ISS ASDT Programme Delivery Manager Responsible for delivery of the Equipment and Logistic elements of the the DLODs and executing the Assessment Phase to evaluate products and services. JFC Cap C4ISR Programme Sponsor. HSCIC (NHS Digital from Jul 16) Health and Social Care Information Centre – Acting as the interface between MOD and NHS England. What Specialists Work On 1) For each CORTISONE Theme provide Technical Documents describing the AS-IS (Legacy) and TO-BE environments in both Fixed and Deployed as requested by the Lead Architect (MOD). Example Theme documents include but not limited to: • CORTISONE Architecture Vision & Roadmap • Solution Architecture Document • High Level Design Documents • Interface Documents with 3rd Party Apps • Deployment Models, e.g. Server/Blade, Client/Server Interface Diagrams • Network Models, e.g. Ports/Protocol diagrams • RISK Management Docs Where the Work Takes Place Primary location to be: Application Services & DevOps Tower (ASDT), MOD Corsham, Westwells Road, Corsham, Wiltshire, SN13 9NR Due to the nature of the work to be delivered there will be a need to visit other locations including London, Lichfield, Bristol and Leeds. Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements This Infrastructure Architect will work under the Lead Architect (MOD) who will be responsible for the transition and development of a new architecture for Programme CORTISONE. The main function of the Business Architect will be to understand and document the Architectural Design of the current system and how it will transition into Programme CORTISONE. To work closely with the CORTISONE Team and Stakeholders in the development of a Infrastructure Architecture for Programme CORTISONE Work Location Primary location to be: Application Services & DevOps Tower (ASDT), MOD Corsham, Westwells Road, Corsham, Wiltshire, SN13 9NR Due to the nature of the work to be delivered there will be a need to visit other locations including London, Lichfield, Bristol and Leeds. Security Clearance SC Additional T&Cs The following MOD Specific terms and conditions shall apply: DEFCON 5J (Edn 03/15) - Unique Order Identifiers DEFCON 129J (Edn 07/08 - Use of Electronic Business Delivery Form DEFCON 522J (Edn 05/03) - Payment Under P2P DEFFORM 30 (Edn 04/15) Electronic Transactions Agreement DEFFORM 129J (Edn 07/08) – Use of the P2P Delivery Label/Form Skills & Experience An understanding of IT security standards and associated design considerations Strong documentation and client-facing presentation skills In-depth Windows Server, Desktop and migration skills across all operating system versions; In-depth Knowledge of Microsoft Private Cloud, Microsoft System Centre 2012 suite and Hyper-V virtualization deployment, migration and support; Knowledge of SAN storage technologies, Experience with Virtual environments (Citrix, Xen, VMware, Microsoft Intune etc.) and Virtual Centre deployment and support; In-depth Knowledge of Containerisation Technologies and Deployment Models Minimum of 5 years Infrastructure Architect experience Minimum of 5 years working in multi-disciplinary IT architecture teams. Nice to Haves Current Microsoft certifications [2008, 2012 - MCSA/MCSE or MCSD] Hyper-V or VMware design experience Docker, Service Oriented Architecture, REST knowledge Enterprise Mobile Management (EMM) Deployment knowledge Firm understanding of Web Service concepts and Technologies (WSDL, XSD, XML, REST and SOA) Integration of medical IS applications, including Off-The-Shelf (OTS) Primary and Secondary Healthcare applications. Integration of NHS England Spine systems and N3 Cloud. Bespoke medical IS applications implementation. HL7, HL7v3 or HL7 FHIR message exposure. TOGAF, Zachman or MOD Architecture Framework (MODAF) experience. Exposure to a wide range of OTS medical IS applications across primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare areas. Understanding of other NHS systems. Exposure to MOD medical IS systems. Development of architectures within an Agile, Continuous and Test Driven programme framework. Exposure to NHS systems of devolved administrations. Experience of working with MOD. Experience of integrating medical IS applications. Minimum of 3 years working with the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC).
