Tender description

The Authority wishes to award a contract for an Independent Investments Advisor. The contract will commence 1.9.2016 — 31.8.2019, with the option to extend for periods of 1 year, up to a maximum of 3 years (1+1+1) i.e. potential contract length 31.8.2022. The Authority wishes to award a contract for an Independent Investments Advisor. The anticipated contract value is 180 000 GBP. The core duties include: — To advise on the strategic asset allocation of the Fund and provide an assessment of ongoing risk associated with the strategy and investment manager structure. — To advise on the performance of the individual investment managers against the Investment Management Agreements set by the Pension Fund Committee (the Committee) and report in writing on a quarterly basis. — To draw to the attention of the Committee, or the Treasurer, as appropriate, any significant issues arising under (a) and / or (b) above. — To give advice verbally and in writing (quarterly) to the Committee and the Treasurer on market conditions and investment matters whenever necessary. — To attend quarterly meetings of the Committee in North Yorkshire (being 4 meetings of up to 4 hours each) and meetings receiving the presentations of the Fund's investment managers (being normally 6 meetings of up to 3 hours each).
