Overhaul & Re-Fit of Experimental Stores 25-36 at Sutton Bridge Crop Storage

Details

Published

Tender description

An overhaul and re-fit of key features of Experimental Stores 25-36 in the Hangar at Sutton Bridge Crop Research to ensure these remain fit for purpose for the period to 2026. These stores are now 24 years old having been constructed in 1991. They have been in almost constant use since then and, as such, the environmental control equipment in the stores is in a poor state of repair, maintenance costs are high and breakdown disruption is frequent. As part of a capital development plan for SBCSR, it has been decided to refurbish these stores sufficiently to address these primary concerns whilst accepting that the stores themselves are structurally sound but cosmetically imperfect.
