Tender description

The University requires a system for specialised quantitative pathology imaging and analysis including the ability to quantify per-cell nuclear, cytoplasmic and membrane marker expression in tissue sections and Tissue Marker Arrays (TMAs). Such studies yield proteomic and morphometric information from intact tissue sections. Automatic identification of specific tissue types using integrated image analysis software technology must be included in your proposal. The scope of this contract is for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of equipment as detailed in Section 3 Technical Specification to Cellular Pathology Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle together with 12 months warranty; an option for a 2 and 3 year service contract and all training necessary for safe and reliable operation of the system and a complete set of Operating and Maintenance documents.
