Tender description

The Director of Finance and Resources, on behalf of Renfrewshire Council, is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Contractor to undertake the work to construct a new school situated next to the existing St Fergus school. Subsequent movement of existing furniture, fitting and equipment and move management from the existing school to the newly constructed school. The works also include the operation of the completed school for 1 year from Practical Completion and the fuel supply and the operation of biomass for 2 years from Practical Completion. This contract will have 2 Lots, Lot 1- Spring 2017 Completion and Lot 2- Summer 2017 Completion. Tenderers are invited to bid for 1 or both Lots. Tenderers are also advised that only 1 of the Lots will be awarded, this will be at the Council's sole discretion. Each Lot will be evaluated based on the Most Economically Advantageous Tender. This contract will be in the form of the SBCC Standard Building Contract with Quantities (SBC/Q/Scot) 2011 Edition.
