Tender description

Salford Council wishes to produce an Approved Provider Register for Counselling in Schools. It is widely recognised that schools can play a key role in helping to promote good mental health and well-being and building resilience in children and young people. Working in partnership with other agencies, schools can help to identify problems at an early stage to prevent mental health issues from escalating. Providers can apply to be part of a register that will be available to schools who wish to access counselling services. Providers can put forward their offer, and as long as the provider is judged to have met the minimum threshold for quality and experience as demonstrated through the questionnaire, they will be included in the register.
