256_16 Highway Electrical Connections provided by Independent Connection Providers

Tender description

A national framework agreement for the provision of highway electrical connections on DNO networks (i.e.contestable works under Competition in Connection launched by Ofgem) and private cables. The framework will also cover minor installation works and fault finding on private cables. All suppliers must be accredited under the National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) presently operated by Lloyds Register. The requirement is split into 2 lots. Tenders can be submitted for one or both lots. Lot 1 is for Highway Electrical Connections on DNO/IDNOs networks (Contestable Works) provided byIndependent Connection Providers. Lot 1 is for Highway Electrical Connections on DNO and Private networks, and Minor Installation Works The framework does not cover Northern Ireland. The framework agreement has the option to extend for up to a further 12 months. The total estimated values stated include the option period. An eAuction process may be used to award subsequent call off contracts following the reopening of competition among the parties to the Framework Agreement. Keywords: contestable work, low voltage
