Tender description
For the avoidance of doubt this is not a Call for Competition – this is to initiate a Market Engagement/ Soft Market Testing process. Staffordshire County Council (SCC) wishes to redesign and begin to integrate its 0-5 years offer to secure effective delivery and outcome achievement for all families. The universal reach of the national Healthy Child Programme provides an invaluable opportunity from early in a child’s life to identify families that are in need of additional support, and children who are at risk of poor outcomes. SCC is seeking to support collaborative working and more integrated commissioning/delivery particularly across Families and Communities (Childrens Centres and Public Health). An integrated universal approach will mean providing some intervention for everyone, by a variety of mechanisms, using this to find those who need a higher level of support and providing extra support at intensity according to need. Greater resources will be targeted to those at risk, vulnerable and/or experiencing difficulties. The scope of this Programme will include the commissioning of the National Healthy Child Programme (0-5 years) and potentially Staffordshire County Council’s Children’s Centre statutory responsibilities As part of the market engagement process, an event will be held to obtain feedback from interested bidders to help shape the model and future provision. The event will be held at 10am on Thursday 12th May 2016 at the Kingston Centre, Fairway, Stafford, ST16 3TW There will also be a Soft Market Testing Questionnaire which will shortly be issued for interested bidders to complete which will provide the opportunity to input into the model and shape the future specification. Interested bidders are asked to register on the E tendering Alito system below and a notification will be issued when the Soft Market Testing Questionnaire is available. To participate in this process we would like to invite organisations interested in this opportunity to: - Register an expression of interest, using the contract reference number SCHPH00175 for this procurement process on our E tendering Alito system http://www.staffordshire.alito.co.uk/ - Email sarah.lynn@staffordshire.gov.uk to request a place at the event on Thursday 12th May 2016. An agenda for the event will be sent out week commencing 9th May 2016.
