Tender description

Surrey County Council as the Waste Planning Authority (WPA) has identified a need to review and where necessary, update the current Surrey Waste Plan (SWP) which was adopted in 2008. Surrey County Council is looking to appoint consultants to provide ‘Critical Friend’ support and advice through the process of reviewing and adopting a revised Surrey Waste Local Plan (SWLP) for the period 2018 to 2033. A revised SWLP will include at minimum a Waste Core Strategy document and Site Allocation document. The plan will ensure that Surrey is able to provide sufficient capacity in order to manage its waste in the most sustainable way. Please see the attached documentation for a full description of the requirement.
