Tender description

Leicester City Council invites Tenders for the supply and installation of secure cycle units across the city of Leicester. The Authority wishes to appoint a Supplier to installation of individual or group cycle storage units in the City's Housing developments and Public Highway locations across the city of Leicester. Prior consultation with tenants, residents and approval of Planning or Traffic Regulation Orders (if appropriate) will be required. This will be carried out by the Authority. The Supplier will be responsible for the production of drawings and graphics to support consultations. We cannot guarantee exact quantities as these will be dependent on the outcome of consultations and/or budget availability and/or other factors. Please refer to the 'Specification' for details of type of cycle rack/shelter type required. The proposed Contract will be for 2 years with an option to extend for a period or periods totalling no more than 3 years and it is anticipated to be awarded to a single supplier. The maximum length of the contract will be 5 years.
