Tender description

Selby District Council provides a fortnightly garden waste collection service to approximately 31 000 domestic properties across the district. The collection service is suspended for a four week period from the middle of December to the middle of January when collection resources are assigned to other duties. Annually we collect approximately 9 000 tonnes of garden waste that is composted at several locations around the district. Due to the nature of garden waste the tonnages collected vary from season to season. Set out below are the monthly tonnages for the last twelve months from March 2015 to April 2016 to give a general indication.
