— Treatment and disposal of residual Municipal (or Local Authority Collected) Waste currently totalling in the region of 100 000 tonnes per annum — Maximising the recovery of fractions of residual waste for recycling and energy generation and minimise waste to landfill — Composting or Anaerobic Digestion of Municipal (Local Authority Collected) Organic Waste — Treatment and disposal of Local Authority collected clinical waste — Management of the Council's Re-use and Recycling Centre (including the management of WEEE waste).
