Outsourced Online Criminal Record Checks

Tender description

Liverpool City Council currently processes approximately 1500 Criminal Records Checks per year. We are now seeking to outsource this complete process including applicant ID checking, counter signatory obligations and full online checking service to an external provider who will provide the full end to end checking service on behalf of Liverpool City Council. To clarify, the solution MUST include a facility for 3rd Party ID/Documentation checks (i.e. via partner organisation such as Post Office). LCC require the successful bidder to be able to provide checks from the following agencies: • Disclosure and Barring Service. • Disclosure Scotland Term: The initial contract will be for 12 months. 2 x 12 Month extensions are available subject to satisfactory performance and the contract remaining in line with the council priorities.
