Market Engagement Event: Trafford Carers Service

Trafford Council are determined to ensure that all carers are able to access a range of personalised services to support them in their role and to help the people they care for remain independent and within their own homes and communities. Following a comprehensive review of the services currently available to support carers In Trafford, commissioners are seeking to re procure a Trafford Carers Service which will deliver a community based service that will ensure all age carers of both adults and children in Trafford are identified and can receive a carer’s assessment under the statutory duty of the Council. In addition, the service will provide tailored information and advice to carers and support to access a range of support and services to meet identified needs. The service will operate on a Borough wide basis. Providers are invited to a briefing event which will be an opportunity to meet with commissioners and hear more about the upcoming tender exercise. The event will be held on Thursday 19th May 2016 at 15.30 – 17.30 pm Conference Room A, Trafford Town Hall, Talbot Road, Stretford, M32 0TH The event will be facilitated by Trafford Council Commissioners with support from colleagues in STAR Procurement.
