Tender description

Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust specializes in providing mental health care to a broad spectrum of age groups ranging from young children to the elderly (including patients who require specialized and secure services) and covering a large geographical area including, North Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath and North East Somerset, Wiltshire and Swindon. The Trust is seeking a supplier to provide linen and laundry services to the Trust across all of its sites as stated in the PQQ. The requirements include a fully comprehensive hire of linen (including bed sheets, patient clothing and patient gowns among other items) and return to sender service (including staff uniforms and curtains among other items). The supplier will also be required to provide the support of a sewing room service in addition to the laundry service. This opportunity is for 36 months with the option to extend for 24 months plus 24 months.
