HCC 04/16 - Pre-Procurement Market Engagement for Hertfordshire IAPT and Counselling Service AQP

The service will offer primary care counseling to service users registered with a GP in Hertfordshire aged over 16 years old with mild to moderate range of mental health problems reporting as suffering from; • Pathological bereavement • Coping with injury or illness • Developmental or life crises • Emotional or physical abuse issues • Family relationship issues • Loss e.g. relationship, employment, health etc. • Self-image and identity issues • Lack of direction, alienation, existential problems • Stress and trauma - pre and post event • Issues of sexuality • Early onset addictive behaviors; drug misuse, eating disorders, alcoholism Service to be Commissioned Primary Care Counseling providing a counseling service and Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme model of mental health support. In East and North Herts CCG all counselling offered will be IAPT compliant. In Herts Valleys CCG, both IAPT and non-IAPT compliant therapies can be offered Indicative rates are as follows: £40 per 1-2-1 session £50 per group session Contract Length 3.5 years General information The following dates are the indicative Key Milestones for the AQP process: Publication of Contract Advert – 26 May 2016 Deadline for Submission of Proposal – 1 July 2016 Evaluation of Proposals – 4 to 11 July 2016 Providers informed of outcome – 19 July 2016 Feedback to Bidders delivered – 20 to 24 July 2016 Standstill Period – 25 to 8 August 2016 Mobilisation Period – 12 August to 30 September Service Commencement – October 1st Provider Information Session The Commissioners will be holding a provider information session on the 16 May 2016, 13:00 – 17:00 in Stevenage. Further details will be available once interested providers have registered on the Commissioners’ online procurement portal, instructions for which are contained in this advert.
