Hanwell Brook Wetland Board Walk Refurbishment Contract

Tender description

The Council requires the refurbishment of a timber board walk located in Hanwell Brook wetland site, which was installed approximately 20 years ago. This board walk is in joint ownership and is now requiring the decking to be replaced along its length together with 4 steps leading to a local playing field. The existing decking and joists are to be removed and replaced with new decking boards and joists with all waste materials removed to an EA approved tip site leaving the site clean and tidy before the school summer holiday. The site is located off Dukes Meadow Drive in Banbury to the north of the Hanwell Fields estate. The site is a flood plain public open space and regularly floods but is a well used area.
