Sefton Council is looking for a suitable supplier that can supply Books of Remembrance Books as per Specification Below Southport Crematorium quarterly volumes Internal leaves to be of 200 gsm handmade paper gathered into sections, sewn onto leather thongs, with doublatures/ liners consisting of calfskin vellum. Date-headed in black capitals round-hand style, all edges gilt with headbands to foot/ head of the volume. Cover of laminated split boards guillotined with bevelled edges covered in calfskin vellum with visible thongs to the French groove. Decoration of the covers in gold to match existing volume with decorative corner pieces inset with square brown tigers eye cabochon stones, the Southport crest to be hand painted in permanent colours Closed size 20” x 15” The old volumes have metal disc adornments in differing metals shallow dished featuring items extracted from the heraldry and pages of calf skin vellum Thornton Garden of Rest quarterly volumes Internal leaves of sheepskin pages gathered into sections, sewn onto leather thongs, with doublatures/liners consisting of calfskin vellum, date-heading in black round-hand capitals, gilt edges with headbands to the head and foot of the volume Cover to be of Navy Blue chieftain leather with laminated split boards guillotined with bevelled edges, non-visible thongs with French groove. Decoration of cover in gold and black to match the existing volume with inlaid contrasting lighter blue corners inset with round cabochon stones Closed size 20” x 15” Please Provide a Quotation for 1 Quarterly Book for each Crematorium and also for a Full Set of Four for Each Crematorium.
