NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board wish to inform the market that they intend to award a contract for the provision of fire alarm service / maintenance of Protec system at the University Hospital of Wales (UHW) for a period of 36 months with option to extend by 12 months. Protec are the one supplier capable of servicing and maintaining the system installed at University Hospital of Wales as it is a bespoke closed protocol system and only Protec have the software and updates to be able to keep the system operational so that the Health Board complies with British Standard and health and safety at work act.
