Electrical Repair and Refit Services

Tender description

Contract for the attendance, provision and repair of electrical supplies to occupied domestic dwellings. The service will include ad-hoc general electrical repairs and rewire installations. The contract period will be for 3 years with a potential extension up to a maximum of 5 years, subject to satisfactory performance. The Service will consist of • a. Attendance to emergency call-outs within a specific time frame, either during the day or out of hours, to reinstate electrical supplies (domestic or communal) as a temporary repair or permanent replacement. • As directed, renew or partially renew sections of/or the complete sub-main distribution system. • Undertake as directed, electrical works as electrical rewire installations: refit electrical accessories & general repairs. • Contractors will be qualified to relevant standards compliant with BD7671 & EAWR1989 Contractors will be working with high voltage supplies
