Tender description

Herefordshire Council is seeking to commission its pupil referral services by identifying a preferred provider to manage their delivery. The overall aims of the services are:- i) to deliver a ‘suitable education for permanently excluded pupils, and for other pupils who — because of illness or other reasons — would not receive suitable education without such arrangements being made’ (DfE Guidance on Alternative Provision; 2013); and, ii) to provide a high quality, specialist outreach service that schools wish to purchase in order to address the needs of individual pupils in mainstream schools and to upskill their staff in appropriate behaviour management techniques.
