Tender description
Dorset County Council, on behalf of Public Health Dorset, sought tenders to provide adult weight management in-person support groups across the 3 local authority areas of Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole that will support the aims to: — Continue to improve the equity, efficiency and effectiveness of service provision in order to improve population outcomes (risks associated with obesity) and reduce health inequalities; — Improve stability in the wider health improvement system by enhancing the value of other commissioned services, including LiveWell Dorset and NHS Health Checks; — Test the benefits of this model of weight management support becoming embedded within a health improvement system which offers wider support for behaviour change.
