Chichester District Council - Avenue de Chartres Multi-Storey Car Park Preventative Maintenance Works

Tender description

The Client wishes to have the following construction works carried out at The Avenue De Chartres Multi Storey Car Park, Avenue De Chartres, Chichester, West Sussex: The Refurbishment of the reinforced concrete structure including parking deck resurfacing and anti-carbonation treatment. Works to include the removal and reinstatement of upper deck walkways and lamp columns and the waterproofing of the northern elevated pedestrian walkway. The works include the design and construction of: • Structural concrete repairs as specified. • Application of deck coating to top deck. • Application of deck coating to intermediate deck. • Application of deck coating to ground floor deck. • Drainage and reinstatement of kerbs, paving slabs and lighting columns top deck. • Replacement of movement joints top deck. • Anti-carbonation decoration of Main and Double Tee beams. • External Edge protection systems(subject to pre contract survey) • External elevated pedestrian walkway waterproofing.( contractors designed portion) All works undertaken must be covered by an insurance backed guarantee for no less than 10 years. The budget for the project is £800,000 to £1,000,000 (not including options). Bids will only be consider below the upper limit. The decision to include any or all priced options will be at the sole discretion of the Client. The maximum budget of this contract, including ALL options is £1,600,000.
