North Lincolnshire Council is undertaking a soft market testing process for the proposed delivery for Positive Activities for Young People. The Council has a statutory duty to secure sufficient services and activities for young people aged 13 to 19 years, and those with learning difficulties to age 24 years, to improve their ‘well-being’. North Lincolnshire Council aims to offer a wide range of activities and opportunities accessible to all young people so that they achieve positive long-term outcomes including good health and emotional well-being, building of resilience and skills for future employability. From September 2016, a new delivery model for positive activities will be implemented to facilitate a dynamic, flexible offer that is more responsive to individual local need. The council is seeking responses from potential market providers on a proposed procurement model of a DPS.
