Tender description

Peterborough City Council (the “Council”) requires the provision of Temporary Agency Workers to cover periods of sickness, long term absence, or unplanned shortfall in its internal resource levels, where there are pressures on service levels during peak periods of demand or where the recruitment process is delayed. The Council employs a significant number of Temporary Agency Workers in a wide variety of Assignments within Children’s and Adult Social Care. These Assignments contribute to the Council delivering its strategic objectives, ensure the Council continues to deliver its services and meet its statutory obligations. The Council on completion of a tendering exercise will set up a Framework Agreement with a number of successful employment businesses for the provision of Temporary Agency Workers within Children’s and Adult Social Care.
