Dates; Set up: Thursday 25th August 2016 Event dates: Friday 26th August 2016 to Monday 29th August 2016. Close Down: Tuesday 30th August 2016 Specification; There are a number of catering opportunities for food and drink providers, available across the event site, we are seeking contractors to undertake one or a number of functions as outlined below: • Local food concessions to bring flavour, colour and uniqueness of local food and drink to bespoke “worlds” being created throughout the event, to bring an inclusive high quality experiential feel to the event (concessions contract) • High volume concessions to be able to provide high quality, high turnover mass food and drink in high footfall areas – enabling the event to service up to 150,000 visitors a day – including but not limited to: hot food, cold food, confectionary and ice cream (concessions contract) • International food concessions creating an offer of the food and drink from around the world, representing the crews that will be heading to Blyth from all over the world (concessions contract) • Catering for guests & staff that will be serviced on site to provide anything from breakfast for volunteers, constant cold buffets in VIP guest area and BBQ’s ships decks for sponsors guests (catering contract see alternative brief) • Bars to provide sociable areas through a number of spaces of the event – these will be contained areas (alcohol will not be allowed out of the bar areas) with a family feel (bar contract see alternative brief) Keywords: food, catering, concessions, Blyth, tall ships
