Tender description

Peterborough City Council (the ‘Council’) requires the provision of Temporary Agency Workers to cover periods of sickness, long term absence, or unplanned shortfall in its internal resource levels, where there are pressures on service levels during peak periods of demand or where the recruitment process is delayed. The Council employs a significant number of Temporary Agency Workers in a wide variety of Assignments within Children's and Adult Social Care. These Assignments contribute to the Council delivering its strategic objectives, ensure the Council continues to deliver its services and meet its statutory obligations. The Council on completion of a tendering exercise will set up a Framework Agreement with a number of successful employment businesses for the provision of Temporary Agency Workers within Children's and Adult Social Care. This lot contains all posts referred to in the PQQ except for Residential Workers. Tenderers are requested to indicate on the PQQ whether they wish to bid for Lot 1 — Social Care Specialists, Lot 2 — Children's Residential Workers, or Both Lots 1 and 2. This Lot refers to Residential Workers as stated in the PQQ. Tenderers are requested to indicate whether they wish to bid for Lot 1 — Social Care Specialists, Lot 2 — Residential Workers or Both Lots 1 and 2.
