Tender description

Sefton Council is looking for a suitable supplier for the provision of Labour Crew to set up and breakdown at the Southport Air Show from Wednesday 7th September to Monday 12th September 2016. A labour team are required to work at the Southport Air Show for the setup, duration and breakdown of the event. One member of staff must have a licence to drive a JCB and insurance. A tractor is required with raking facility for the beach. Jobs to include:- Check slipway on to the beach, ensuring that sand and tracking are level and clear. Mark out Army / Aircraft display space on Southport Beach / Runway / Crowd Line with tractor. Internal & external event signs / pedestrian signs to be installed / toblerone signs. Drop 10 barriers to Pier adjacent to crowd line. There will be an additional event on the Friday evening with gates opening at 6pm and closing at 9pm. The site needs to be ready for opening on the Friday, therefore additional hours may be required to work to ensure this. Thursday 8th September 2016 Erect signage – Princes Park / Beach Village. Put flagpoles up on central reservation and Princes Park trade village entrance. Pin and mesh with orange fencing in Princes Park Car Park (Premier Parking, Disabled Parking, around waste disposal). Pin and mesh with orange fencing on the beach from slip road to the Pier. Remove wooden sleepers at Pleasureland for RAF. Remove sleepers at Trade Village entrance and opposite DW Sports. Friday 9th September 2016 Set out disabled enclosures barriers. Distribute Programmes to wooden programme huts. Runway – rolling and marking out. Mark out flightline on beach with orange markers. Saturday 10th September 2016 06:30 am Fairways, Marine Drive and Weld Road – road closures to be put in place. Make sure the herras fencing across the Old Esplanade Road is uncoupled ready for the customers arriving. Sunday 11th September 2016 06:30 am Fairways, Marine Drive and Weld Road – road closures to be put in place. Thursday 8th September – 2 x staff 8am to 7:30pm, 2 x staff 8am to 5:30pm. Friday 9th September – 4 x staff 7am to 7pm. Saturday 10th September – 2 x staff 6am to 8pm.
