Scope of works for Engineering Consultancy Services for Estate Roadway extension at IDA Athlone Business & Technology Park, Garrycastle

Tender description

It is envisaged that the construction of c.70m single carriageway park roadway including associated services and landscaping will be facilitated within IDA Athlone Business & Technology Park in Q2 2016. It is proposed to extend this single carriageway to link Park road infrastructure to the R916 at the recently constructed roundabout. In order to accommodate this development, IDA Property Division is seeking to appoint a suitable consultant to prepare, submit and manage a planning proposal and detailed design for the road extension and complete the stages for delivery of same. IDA Ireland require the services a consultant for the construction of c.300 metres of single carriageway park roadway including bridge/culvert design, all associated services & landscaping. See indicative map attached. The construction of the proposed roadway is to service the future expansion of the park infrastructure.
