Repair and maintenance services of electrical machinery, apparatus and associated equipment

Tender description

Provision and repair of electrical supplies to occupied domestic dwellings. Services will include ad hock general electrical repairs and rewire installations. The contract period will be for 3 years with a potential extension up to a maximum of 5 years, subject to satisfactory performance. The Service will consist of: — Attendance to emergency call-outs within a specific time frame, either during the day or out of hours, to re-instate electrical supplies (domestic or communal) as a temporary repair or permanent replacement. — As directed, renew or partially renew sections of/or the complete sub-main distribution system. — Undertake as directed, electrical works as electrical rewire installations: refit electrical accessories and general repairs. — Contractors will be qualified to relevant standards compliant with BD7671 and EAWR1989. Contractors will be working with high voltage supplies.
