Tender description

Cardiff Council wishes to enter into a framework agreement for the hiring of events infrastructure equipment and security personnel. The Framework will look to service events throughout Cardiff City Centre, Cardiff Bay and the surrounding area. Events will range in scale from musical acts on a bandstand, to large scale, multi-site events such as the Cardiff Harbour Festival, Extreme Sailing Series, Cardiff Festival, Cardiff Half Marathon and The International Food and Drink Festival. The framework will also be utilised for any ad hoc requirements the Council may have. Ad hoc events have in the past included the Wales Velothon, Rugby World Cup 2015 Cardiff Fan-zone and in future years will include the Volvo Ocean Race, Roald Dahl Weekend of The Unexpected and UEFA Cup Finals amongst many more. Cardiff Council Events team wishes to enter into a framework agreement for the hiring of Crowd barriers and site fencing. Cardiff Council Events teams wishes to enter into a framework agreement for the hiring of Generators for all Cardiff Council run events. Cardiff Council Events team wishes to enter in a framework agreement for the hiring of Track-way and Temporary Flooring. Cardiff Council Events team wishes to enter into a framework agreement for the hire of Marquees above and below 12 metres. Cardiff Council Events team wishes to enter into a framework agreement for the hire of event security. Cardiff Council Events team wishes to enter into a framework agreement for the hire of Temporary Toilets and showers for both Standard Public quality and Luxury Corporate quality.
