DFID 7554 Evidence for Development (E4D) Nepal

Actual CPV code is ‘75211200 Foreign Economic-Aid Related Services’. The UK's Department for International Development (DFID) intends to fulfil a new requirement in 2016 where we will be seeking partners/suppliers to implement a new programme to strengthen the generation and use of evidence (for example, research, evaluation and data/statistics) for informed decision making and accountability in Nepal. DFID will be seeking partners to implement this new programme to support the government of Nepal. The programme will have a number of components that will each contribute to this overall objective. Components are as follows : 1. Strengthening capacity of the National Statistics System in Nepal 2. Strengthening GoN capacity for evidence generation and use 3. Strengthened District level data systems and information for effective needs assessment 4. Improving access, availability and use of data in Nepal. The supplier will be responsible for delivering Component 2 and an element of Component 3 only. Further detail on these components is detailed in the ToR. The contract will be issued for a period of 36 months with the possibility of a further 24 month extension subject to requirement and satisfactory performance of the supplier.
