Tender description

This contract is to deliver to ensure full compliance with the Approved Code of Practice and Guidance (ACOP L8), The Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems. The main scope of works under this contract will include: Consultancy services to include consultancy, training, Risk Assessments, and Maintenance services to include cleaning, disinfection, Thermostatic Mixer Valve (TMV) installation and servicing, Base Exchange softener service, microbiological testing, water tank checking and replacement services and other. a. To include the undertaking and / or advice on how to undertake Risk Assessments (BS8580:2010) and Methods of Sampling for Legionella organisms in water and related materials (BS7592:1992). b. Provide a maintenance offer for all aspects of hot and cold water systems following HSE Technical Guidance, HSG274, Parts 1, 2 and 3.
