Tender description

Irish Water wishes to appoint a number of Regional Services and Works Contractors to assist in achieving its network improvement targets through targeted capital works. The extent of the scope of the programme is to support the provision of efficient water services capital investment. It is expected that these Regional Services and Works Contractors will require large numbers of sub-contractors to supplement their own resources. The purpose of this Notice is to establish a list of sub-contractors that Regional Services and Works Contractors may choose to appoint over the duration of the project. This will give sub-contractors an opportunity to provide information on their capabilities to the Regional Services and Works Contractors. The selection of sub-contractors from this list will be at the discretion of the Regional Services and Works Contractors. A process for the establishment of the Regional Services and Works Contractors will be run under a separate Notice (tender reference 16/010). It is the intention to include all details of all sub-contractors on the list to the Regional Services and Works Contractors when they are being invited to tender. It is the intention to undergo procurement of the Regional Services and Works Contractors during 2016 with an award in Q4 2016 / Q1 2017.
