Tender description

NUI Galway are seeking to expand and add capacity to an operational Nexsan E60 storage array which has been in use since November 2012. This system hosts block storage for virtualization servers primarily and is almost at full capacity. The required solution must add a minimum of 480TB to this storage pool within the constraints described. Ease of integration with the existing hardware and software is of primary importance in conjunction with reliability and performance. Full requirements are provided in the Invitation to Tender document which is available to download from www.etenders.gov.ie. RFT Ref 103640. Suppliers must be registered users on the etenders website in order to accept the invitation and access the documents.
