Tender description

Office and School Relocation Services — The Council have a requirement for up to two (2) External Providers for the provision of labour and resources to undertake relocation projects, which involve furniture and equipment uplift, removals and redistribution. It is the Council's intention to have two (2) Lots, each with a single supplier, to meet our requirements; these Lots have been determined by our judgement for size and scale of a relocation project. The performance of Relocation Services is generally within the Council's geographical boundary. Lot 1 — Large Relocation Projects: Large Relocation Projects will comprise a minimum of: 25 large/complex items; or, 50 small items; or, 50 packed boxes. Large Relocation Projects will be the majority of the time scheduled with at least two (2) weeks notice in advance for the performance of service. There may be an occasional requirement for a shorter lead time, but this is infrequent. Estimated Framework Value for Lot 1 = 400 000 GBP for entire duration Lot 2 — Small Relocation Projects Small Relocation Projects will comprise of a minimum of: 1 large/complex items; or, 1 small items; or, 1 packed box. A Small Relocation Project will not exceed a combination of 25 large/complex items plus 50 small items plus 50 packed boxes. Small Relocation Projects will be the majority of the time scheduled with less than two (2) weeks notice in advance for the performance of service. There is a frequency for short lead-times, including same day requests.
