Tender description
Through this programme Lewisham Council are looking to assist 24 unemployed and underemployed Lewisham residents (age 18+) to take advantage of the construction job opportunities which will come from the regeneration taking place in Lewisham borough and the wider London and South East area by the end of 2016/2017. This will be achieved by delivering fully funded programmes which will offer relevant construction training, work experience, certificates/card, a guaranteed interview and post programme job seeking support and the Council is looking for a training provide to provide this programme. The Council also require the training provider to provide a mentor for each client on the programme to assist them with their training and to provide guidance regarding the construction industry. The programme will also offer participants assistance with access to support with travel, childcare and subsistence. Keywords: Construction, Training
