Sellafield Ltd is to hold an Early Market Engagement Day for the potential long term supply of Ventilation system packages. The Ventilation Systems packages will be broken into 4 separate contract lots: Ductwork, Filter Housings, Fans and Air Handling Units. Estimated contract values: — Ductwork TBC; — Air handling units up to 10 000 000 GBP over 10 years; — Fans up to 10 000 000 GBP over 10 years; — Filter housings up to 4 000 000 GBP over 10 years. The aim is to engage the supply chain in supporting long term planning requirements for the above Ventilation System packages of existing and new build projects across a circa 10 year period. This is prior to any potential future procurement. Workshops have already been held with a small number of suppliers to look at opportunities for improvements in how Sellafield Ltd specifies, how it works with the supply chain and the benefits of modern manufacturing techniques with an aim of developing alternative methodologies. This will be discussed at the Early Market Engagement Day. Copies of the output will be provided prior to the Early Market Engagement Day.
